Welcome to my portfolio! I’m Vitória Barreto, a Master’s student in Journalism and International Affairs at Sciences Po, Paris. I interned at Veja, Brazil’s largest weekly magazine, contributing to print articles for the magazine and daily news for the website, and at Agence France-Presse in Rio de Janeiro as a Video Editor. At the start of my Bachelor's, I also contributed to the university paper with articles about international politics and hosted a podcast on entrepreneurship and student life during the pandemic.
In early 2021, I launched a podcast focused on creative pursuits, career building, and navigating college life. During the pandemic, as I struggled to maintain my sanity, I found inspiration in the innovative projects of my friends. Witnessing the energy and passion in their creations gave me a renewed sense of hope and purpose.
For Professor Creso Soares' Radio Editing class, Giovanna, Renata and I investigated how the recycling process works at PUC-Rio. In a literary journalism-style report, we demonstrated the investigation process and discovered previously unpublished information.
